Easter Dress in the works

I decided to make Hayley an Easter dress this year. I don't typically fall under the category of mom's that dress their youngsters in formal attire on holiday's when they themselves aren't especially dressed up. So, I haven't really made any "special" dresses yet.
I got a bag of scraps of fancy fabric from my mom a while ago to make flowers and other things from but I was poking through and found a good chunk of pink and cream silk feeling fabric (my untrained eye doesn't know names of fabrics, sorry).....which inspired me to make something special for H.

I'm using this skirt I recently got for inspiration. (I am loving the scallops!) I also found an awesome tutorial on how to do it here.
